When my six-year-old daughter told me she wished she was dead, I knew I had to do more than just keep up.


I also knew I didn’t want to medicate her and fill her tiny body with chemicals that could have horrendous side effects (known and unknown).

I knew there had to be an alternative to what the doctors were telling me. Surely someone had another way to handle these very serious symptoms.

Instead I had to piece together what I could from a holistic GP, allied practitioners, and an enormous amount of research, trying to figure out what was really causing my daughter to lash out, bite people, and develop an irrational fear of school.


Today I have a happy and healthy 16-year-old daughter who attends school everyday and is growing into a young woman I’m immensely proud of.


A few years after my daughter’s scare, my son became a completely different person overnight. It was as if he had been possessed by a demon. This time I recognized the symptoms of PANDAS and I knew he was going to need extra help.
